The Delaware Valley Opera is excited to begin an expansion of our educational outreach program, including exceptional opportunities for teachers and students to participate in the professional production and performance of opera and musical theater in our area. We look forward to meeting you and are eager to speak about collaborative educational projects that work within your curriculum: touring lecture~performance programs, master classes, and workshops for all ages.
Youth Opera Experience
The Delaware Valley Opera and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts present a week-long program for participants aged 8 to 15, July 9–14, 2012 at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Participants will experience the thrill of live performance, gaining understanding of all facets of production, and culminating in the performance of an original opera pastiche.
Professional Artist Development Program
The DVO's Professional Artist Development Program (PADP) is a professional training program for opera singers at all stages of development. It offers singers from all over the world role study, coaching, and mainstage performance opportunities, to enhance professional status and skills through professional experience.
