Become a member of the Delaware Valley Opera, and support our mission to provide opportunities for area talent to study and perform a wide range of operatic repertoire; to introduce opera to young people and the general public through performances, workshops, and educational programs; and to foster collaborations between creative and interpretive artists and technicians. There are a variety of ways in which you can get involved with the DVO's productions:
The Delaware Valley Opera is a Professional Company Member of Opera America.
We are proud to announce that Eileen Hampshire Mackintosh has been named Chorus Master of the new Delaware Valley Opera Chorus. The Chorus is a vital part of opera, and we invite all interested singers to contact us for information on how to join.
In addition to performing in opera performances during the Summer Festival, the Chorus will also perform great chorus works from opera and other repertoire in their two Choral Concerts, scheduled for April and December of 2011.

Set Construction, Lighting, Wardrobe, Makeup
Have you ever wondered what goes into producing an opera in the theater? Our set and lighting designers are always in need of volunteer manpower to build sets, hang lighting, and in general prepare the theater for upcoming productions, as well as striking the set at the production's conclusion. Volunteers are also needed to assist in wardrobe and makeup during the run of the production. Find out more about how you can get involved here.
Ushers take tickets, show audience members to their seats, and distribute programs at DVO productions. Find out how you can join our team of volunteer ushers here.
