Set Construction, Lighting, Wardrobe, Makeup

Have you ever wondered what goes into producing an opera in the theater? Our set and lighting designers are always in need of volunteer manpower to build sets, hang lighting, and in general prepare the theater for upcoming productions, as well as striking the set at the production's conclusion. Volunteers are also needed to assist in wardrobe and makeup during the run of the production. Contact us to find out more about how you can get involved.

Ushers

Ushers take tickets, show audience members to their seats, and distribute programs at DVO productions. Join our team of volunteer ushers.

Fundraising

Artisan Craft Market

The DVO participates in an Artisan Craft Market at the Delaware Community Center, 8 Creamery Road, in Callicoon, NY. Admission is free, and proceeds from the event benefit the DVO. The Artisan Craft Market offers a variety of local artisans an opportunity to display their wares to the community, benefiting both the artisans and the DVO.
